That is because of Uncle Jamie, a Real Estate Broker who helped us to prepare everything before we came. Now let me share that special experience with you.
When my family decided to move to United States, my parents and Uncle Jamie began to search for a home of our dream through E-mail communication. Then my parents stopped their work for one week and traveled a long trip to view some nice homes in San Marino, California. While they finally decided on a wonderful house with Jamie's help and almost bought it, the owner began to wonder about selling the house or not to us. That really made my parents angry, because there was no time to waste. So they gave up on that house and asked Uncle Jamie to find another one.
Uncle Jamie sent E-mails with the descriptions and pictures of the houses he took with his digital camera. That really made my parents feels easy, so they made the decision very quickly. Therefore, my parents did not even physically see the house before we bought it. Isn't that amazing? But this is a true story! Uncle Jamie stayed on top of all the paper works and close the escrow on our behalf.
Furthermore, Uncle Jamie even helped us to coordinate the remodeling of the house. When we arrived, we moved into a nice newly remodeled home. And Uncle Jamie has already prepared things such as getting two twin beds and necessary items in the bedrooms and bathroom for us. The phone is already working too. He also took us to do the shopping we need including our car and my bicycle. He makes our settling down in this unknown but wonderful place so soon so fast!
We really thank all the help from Uncle Jamie. My Mom says we did not make a wrong decision on this big choice of a person's life.
